This one-stop plaza provides a tourism information center and souvenir shop on the first floor. Meeting rooms and lounges are available throughout the plaza and can be used for classes and workshops to exchange information and knowledge.
The Seoul Tourism Organization, working city government, is helping to shape the governance of the industry. Two floors of the plaza are being dedicated to startups and incubators as professionals design the future of various industries.
The plaza not only has broadcasting studios and a medical tourism promotion center, but also a Seoul Tourism and MICE Center to offer professional consulting and counseling services exclusively for MICE industry endeavors. The Seoul Tourism Plaza stands as a meeting point for the industry in Seoul, and is expected to play an essential role in revitalizing tourism.
An online survey conducted last fall by the Seoul Tourism Organization polled 2,784 foreigner travelers and found that nine out of ten of these travelers, or 94 percent, had plans to visit Seoul after Covid-19.
