Napa Valley opening brings the hotel group’s new luxury lifestyle brand to California in March
The 68-room adults-only hotel, which was formerly Las Alcobas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Napa Valley, includes seven suites, and is built around a Georgian-style guesthouse originally constructed in 1907 with its restaurant and bar and seven of the rooms.
The property is surrounded by the vineyards of the Beringer Estate in the city of St Helena.
All guestrooms include automation controls, marble bathrooms, custom-designed furniture and oversized balconies or wrap-around terraces with fireplaces. The hotel will also feature a newly rebranded spa which feature treatments “reflective of its wine country location” and wellness offerings such as complimentary bikes and “mindful wine tastings.”
There is also a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pool overlooking adjacent vineyards and mountains.
Alila Napa Valley is walking distance from the shops and restaurants in downtown St Helena and has access to more than 400 nearby wineries. The hotel also has over 5,000 square feet of meetings and events space.
The hotel will join Hyatt’s portfolio on March 1, which also includes Ventana Big Sur, an Alila Resort, and Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas – the latter is expected to open in March too.
“Growing the Alila brand remains a priority for Hyatt and we’re so thrilled to offer guests and World of Hyatt members new, immersive experiences set in the remarkable beauty of California’s exceptional Napa Valley wine country,” said Crystal Vinisse Thomas, Hyatt global brand leader, lifestyle and luxury brands.
Hyatt acquired the Alila brand in November 2018 when it purchased lifestyle hotel management company Two Roads Hospitality. The brand has 14 properties across six countries and joined Hyatt Hotels’ loyalty program World of Hyatt in 2019.
