Global chauffeur group debuts the premium service this week in New York, London, Dubai, Berlin and Paris
In addition to New York, the Berlin-based company says the service will also be rolled out to the US cities of Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Washington DC by next week.
Blacklane says by March 26 the service will be available in a total of 21 cities, with the addition of Vienna, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Dublin, Milan, Lisbon, Singapore and Zurich.
The chauffeur service says it partners with “the best local chauffeur companies” to compete with Uber and Lyft with a premium service that already offers scheduled rides in 50 countries. Blacklane says the new on-demand rides “maintain the same premium quality, health and safety standards, fixed competitive fares, and sustainability” as its prebooked trips.

The company offers all-inclusive fares that are based only on distance, with no extra charges for higher demand, traffic or tolls. Customers can book the service and chat to the 24/7 customer service team on Blacklane’s app.
“People need trusted local transportation now more than ever as cities reopen,” said Dr. Jens Wohltorf, CEO. “Many companies have built ride-hailing platforms with little quality control and confusing costs. But Blacklane has built a global chauffeur-hailing service with clear, consistent rates and the highest quality standards.”
